Turning Catterick Into A "Super Garrison"
Today marked the first day in their new home for 4th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland (4 SCOTS).
Formerly based in Fallingbostel in Germany, the Highlanders now reside in Bourlon Barracks in Catterick.
It has meant transporting military vehicles including mastiffs and huskies across the continent.
This is the latest in a huge wave of arrivals into the UK’s largest garrison.
The battalion formed up in the barrack's gymnasium for a special welcome by the Commanding Officer.
