A veteran has been talking to Forces News about the difficulties he and his family faced growing up in an Army camp in the 1920s.
Ernest Vickers lived in a hut at Morn Hill Camp for 10 years after the First World War.
The purpose built huts where originally for the troops passing through Winchester to get to the Western Front.
