On Watch And On Guard: Kabul Protection Unit
Soldiers who have been spending the last six months serving in Afghanistan are among those making up a new UK Brigade of reserve and regular battalions.
The 7th Infantry Brigade is now fully operational and includes troops from 1 Royal Anglian, who were part of the multi-national Kabul Protection mission.
Lt Col Dom Biddick, CO 1 Royal Anglian:
"Our job is only to step in if there is a coalition soldier of any nationality that is under threat or is injured. Thankfully that happens very rarely"
