The winners: Athletes, coaches and officials honoured in 2023 Army Sports Awards

Watch: The winners of the 2023 Army Sports Awards were announced in the event held at RMA Sandhurst

Army Sport have held their annual awards celebrating their best athletes, coaches and officials at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

Two reservists received the biggest honours of the night, with rugby player Sapper Cameron McDonald winning Sportsman of the Year after a stellar season with Army Rugby and an impressive debut season for the German National Team.

Modern Pentathlete Second Lieutenant Kerenza Bryson won Sportswoman of the Year after securing a place at next year's Paris Olympics by winning bronze at the World Pentathlon Championships in Bath.

The ladies' Tug of War team won Team of the Year after they were selected to represent England at major international tournaments, as well as retaining their Inter Services title. 

Other accolades included a Rising Star award, Official of the Year, Sports Cadet of the Year, Unit Awards and two Lifetime Achievement Awards.
