Zenobia: Army Divers Sink To New Depths

A group of British Army scuba divers have been in Cyprus exploring one of the best ship wrecks in the world.

The Zenobia - a 10,000 tonne Swedish ferry - sank off Larnaca in 1980.

A computer malfunction with ship’s ballast tanks made her list and eventually sink.

Thankfully everyone on board survived but £200 million worth of cargo was lost.

Including more than 100 trucks, many of which remain lodged inside.

Today it’s among the top ten dives in the world.
