The newest members of the Queen's Gurkha Engineers have been learning key boating skills as part of their course to become fully fledged British Army sappers.

They had already learned to blow things up and build bridges, and have now been learning to master their watermanship.

The young sappers must not only learn how to control and steer the craft, but also engage with a range of different marine scenarios.
