Royal Marines Victorious Over Parachute Regiment

The Royal Marines have beaten the Parachute Regiment 36-26 to retain the Trafalgar Cup.

The two have faced off every year in the Armed Forces Rugby League Challenge Match since 1998, where military operations and commitments have allowed.

This year's edition was held at the AJ Bell Stadium, home of the Salford Red Devils.

The match served as a curtain-raiser to the club's Super League game against Hull KR.
