Type 23 frigate HMS Sutherland practises firing guns to get combat-ready
A Royal Navy Type 23 frigate has been undertaking training, including firing her various guns, to ensure she is ready for combat over the last two weeks.
HMS Sutherland released footage on X showing her crew practising shooting her 4.5 Mk8 gun and her ceremonial saluting guns.
The frigate was previously deployed in operations during the seizure of the Russian shadow fleet vessel Smyrtos just over a week ago.
