Brimstone: The RAF's Powerful Anti-Armour Weapon
Brimstone is a powerful missile used by the Royal Air Force to take out armoured targets.
It has been deployed by Tornado GR4 pilots against Daesh vehicles during air strikes in Iraq.
The missiles are highly accurate, allowing the pilot to choose the time of detonation, and have limited fragmentation to prevent accidental damage.
The weapon can operate in all weathers and is designed to be effective against future 'explosive reactive armour' developments.
