MOD Accepts Liability for Tornado Crash Deaths
The Ministry of Defence has admitted liability for the deaths of three airmen killed in a Tornado crash in 2012.
Sqn Ldr Samuel Bailey, Flt Lt Hywel Poole and Flt Lt Adam Sanders died when two Tornado GR4s collided. A lack of anti-collision equipment on the jets was reported in the Military Aviation Authority's investigation into the collision.
