Pilot training delays caused by a 'perfect storm', former senior RAF officer says
A former senior RAF commander says previous defence cuts have created the "perfect storm" for a pilot training crisis.
The Defence Secretary has said the delays in the pipeline for RAF pilot training need urgent improvement.
Retired Air Marshal Greg Bagwell told Forces News the delays aren't currently impacting the frontline operations but could in the future if the issue isn't resolved.
