US Air Force B-52 Bombers Return to the UK

American B-52 Bombers have returned to the UK this month.

It's the first time they've deployed for 11 years.

Three of the aircraft are flying from RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, where they last flew bombing missions against Iraq in 2003.

But the US Air Force insists their two-week mission - along with two B-2 Stealth Aircraft - has been planned for two years and is not a show of force over the Ukrainian crisis.
