21 Gun Salute From HMS Drake

Devonport Naval Base will be firing a 21-gun salute on Tuesday (21st April) at 12 noon to mark the Queen’s Birthday.

Residents who live adjacent to the Drake Main Gate on Saltash Road may hear the salute as the rounds will be fired from HMS Drake’s Quarterdeck in the Navy Base.

The traditional gun salute will be made by the Royal Navy’s armoury team. The event will also be marked by all ships in the Naval Base raising their flags known as dressing overall.
