Army Sports Awards 2016: The Winners
The Army has honoured its leading sportsmen and women in a glittering ceremony at Sandhurst Royal Military Academy.
The 2016 Army Sports Awards took place in the atmospheric Old College, with Chief of the General Staff, General Sir Nick Carter, in attendance.
Also present was double Olympic gold medallist Major Heather Stanning, who used the occasion to announce her retirement from international rowing after a glittering career in the sport.
