Cameras Capture Warship Sinking
Footage has been released showing the sinking of a navy warship - from a first-person perspective.

Uribe 121, a former Mexican Navy offshore patrol vessel, was sunk around a mile off the coast of Rosarito, Mexico, to create the first artificial reef in Baja California.

With natural reefs being damaged by overfishing, pollution and erosion of the ocean floor, she'll help to create coastal ecosystems in areas that were once desolate ocean floors.

The warship started her life as part of the first Mexican fleet that could operate with helicopters on board.

Named after a cadet, Virgilio Uribe, who died in 1914 while defending the state of Veracruz from the enemies, she's the first of four ships that will make up the artificial reef.
