Defence Secretary: Military Bases In Cyprus "More Important Than Ever"

Britain's military bases in Cyprus are "more important than ever" because of the rise of extremist terror, so says Sir Michael Fallon.

The Defence Secretary has been visiting RAF Akrotiri from where air strikes against Islamic State targets in Syria and Iraq are launched.

He's been speaking to Forces News reporter Simon Newton who started by asking him if the Americans were right to believe Raqqa and Mosul could fall within six months.
