Forces Shooters On Target For Tokyo Olympics
Their military training gives them the kind of transferable skills needed to make good Olympians.
That's the feeling of Paul Taylor, who trains military personnel in pistol shooting for the Olympics.
He says the forces do well at shooting contests because they are fit, able athletes with good eyesight, good core stability, good aptitude, and are available to train for 20-plus hours a week.
Because of this, British Shooting and the Army Rifle Association have teamed up to form an initiative called "Troops to Target".
