British Army athletes shine as they do the Inter Services double at a sun-drenched Aldershot
British Army athletes claimed both the women's and men's team titles at this year's Inter Services Athletics Championships.
The women posted 169 points as they finished 14 points clear of the Royal Air Force women in second.
Captain Laura Clark led the way, winning gold in the 200 and 400 metres. Fellow officer Hayley Perrin returned from deployment to finish first in the women's 100-metre hurdles for the fourth successive season.

The Army were pushed all the way to the title by the Royal Air Force. Halton-based Corporal Alex Tetley finished first in the women's 800 metres, with teammate AS1 Fran Herdman claiming silver.
Meanwhile, Sergeant Laura Hughes won the 100 metres, three years after her previous victory in the discipline.
There was individual success for the Senior Service too. Chelsea Baker completed a distance double by romping home in the 1500 and 5000 metres, the 2024 Royal Navy sportswoman of the year adding track triumph to the Inter Services Cross Country crown she won earlier in the year.
Meanwhile the Army men reached 179 points, 39 points more than nearest rivals the Royal Air Force, to be crowned champions.
The RAF started the day well, with Scotland international Cameron Tindle winning the 100 and 200 metres.
But Army and Saint Lucia star Marvric Pamphile warmed up for his appearance at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games by winning the 400 metres.
There was further track success for the Army, including a maiden title in the 1500 metres for Captain Dane Bloomquist.
Lance Sergeant Eugent Okantah continued his excellent form in the high jump. Fresh from gold in the Army championships he took top spot in Aldershot.
