Four Airmen In A Pedalo
Four serving RAF airmen are attempting to pedal 123 miles, the navigable length of the Thames River in just 6 days aboard their trusty vessel Right Said Ped, a 12 foot long pedalo.
It may look idyllic but 12 hours of pedalling per day is actually pretty hard work.
Despite there only being two sets of pedals, all four men must stay aboard at all times to comply with the Guinness World Record rules.
They’re travelling through 44 locks starting at Lechlade and ending at Teddington, so far they’ve reached Bray, near Maidenhead.
So far the team have raised more than 7000 pounds for the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, a charity close to their hearts.
