"Gallantry Medal Holders Deserve To Be Treated Equally"

£3 million is to go to the Victoria Cross and George Cross Association to support its 75th anniversary.

Announced in the chancellor's latest budget, the funding is to be paid for through money collected from banking fines.

There's also to be a quadrupling in payments made to Victoria Cross and George Cross holders.

Lance Sergeant Johnson Beharry VC spoke to Forces TV's Kaija Larke about the announcement, and expressed his concern that other gallantry medal holders won't be rewarded in the same way.
