The Man Behind Britain's Ceremonial Spectaculars
Forces TV has taken a look at the role of one of the UK's most senior non-commissioned officers.
WO1 (GSM) Andrew 'Vern' Stokes, of the Coldstream Guards, was appointed to the role of Garrison Sergeant Major, London District, earlier this year.
He's responsible for all ceremonial duties across the UK - and they don't come much bigger than the the recent Chinese State Visit.
We followed him in his preparations for the event.
