Parris Island: Making It Through 54 Hours Of Hell

With the United States opening up all combat roles to women, the female marine recruits currently training are now eligible to go on to any job in the US forces.

In a series of special reports, Forces News has been following recruits in South Carolina, as they complete the Marine bootcamp.

For recruit Chelsea Villela making it would mean her going onto infantry training.
