Prince William Presents Welsh Firm With Forces Gold Award
The Duke of Cambridge has presented a small Welsh decorating firm with a gold award for the employer recognition scheme.
The award is reserved for employers who've given the highest possible level of support to the Armed Forces, veterans and their families.
Dai Rees picked up the award for Merthyr Tydfil-based D.J. Rees decorating, which takes on as many reservists as it can afford.
The firm has also received widespread attention for taking on a homeless boy as an apprentice, and helping him to achieve his goal of joining the Army.
Joining Prince William at the event at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London was defence secretary Michael Fallon.
