Santa Strikes Back: Pilots Don Hats For Christmas Day Airstrikes

New pictures have been released showing US pilots donning the traditional red 'Santa' hat as they carried out airstrikes against the so-called Islamic State (IS) on Christmas Day.
It comes as US and coalition forces continue to attack IS terrorists in Syria and Iraq.
The coalition's Joint Task Force recently released footage of its aircraft supporting Iraqi security forces with airstrikes, to destroy a Daesh pump jack near Abu Kamal, Syria, last month.
The strikes were conducted as part of Operation Inherent Resolve - the mission to eliminate IS.
Officials say the destruction of targets in Syria and Iraq will limit its ability to project terror and conduct terrorist operations.
Nations that have conducted strikes in Iraq and Syria include the UK, United States, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Jordan, the Netherlands, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.
