Scare After Package Found Near Horse Guards Parade

Police have reportedly carried out a controlled explosion on a package near Horse Guards Parade.

It's now been confirmed, however, that the bag was not suspicious.

It comes as it's been confirmed a 75-year-old man who was injured in the Westminster terror attack has died in hospital, Scotland Yard said. 

A spokesman said: "The man had been receiving medical treatment in hospital following the attack and life support was withdrawn this evening.

"Next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained family liaison officers."
