School Set For More Forces Children

One of Salisbury Plain’s main primary schools has officially opened a brand new building – making a total of seven new classrooms.

It’s part of preparations for hundreds of forces children moving to the area from Germany as part of the rebasing programme.

The additional classrooms are housed in a brand new eco-friendly building, the biggest of several upgrades preparing for forces children moving to the school as part of the Army Rebasing Programme.

The new classrooms boast a drama studio and a food tech room.

Kiwi Primary has seen pupil numbers swell from 85 to almost 260, that figure set to peak to 500 hundred in the next few years.
