Services Do Battle On Sporting Field

It was strangely quiet at Sandhurst, Dartmouth, and Cranwell recently.

That's because officer cadets from the Britania Royal Naval College Dartmouth, Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and Royal Air Force College Cranwell, were preparing to do battle on the sporting field.

Over the weekend, it was time for the Inter Collegiate Tri-Service Games.

It was the first time in years that the Army, Navy and RAF's military academies have competed against each other.

The events brought officer cadets from the Three Services together in friendly but fierce competition, with athletics and cricket the chosen forms of battle.
