Solid As The Rock - No Change For Gibraltar
The outgoing Commander of British Forces in Gibraltar has told Forces TV he's confident that the overseas territory will not be affected by the vote for Britain to leave the European Union.
Commodore Ian McGhie said Gibraltar's security will not be affected.
"I would say that everything that I've seen of U.K. wider government in Whitehall is that they're even more forward leaning in support in Gibraltar and recognise the strategic asset that she is".
Voters on Gibraltar voted overwhelmingly in favour of remaining in the EU.
Commodore McGhie said that it's natural for there to be a degree of apprehension, but that where there's change, there's opportunity.
