VIDEO: How To Survive An Atomic Attack

The recent memorial services in Japan, held to remember the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945, brought back into focus the destructive capability of nuclear weapons.
At the time of the attacks the US Government issued advice to its own people containing what it considered on top tips for survival after the nearby detonation an of atomic bomb.
The Federal Civil Defense Administration film below showed how the average American citizen should respond when confronted with a nuclear strike.
