Army duo reign supreme at BFBS Snowboard Cross event
While it was two Army soldiers at the top of the podiums, it was the Navy who won both team awards.
After reading law at Durham University and studying journalism as a postgraduate in Cardiff, Simon spent three years in commercial radio at Q in Belfast. He joined BFBS in 2019, initially as a reporter before transitioning to the Sport team. He has led commentary on the Inter Services Cricket Championships at Lord’s, reported on the IS Snow Sports Championships in Méribel and led coverage of the Code Bowl Call of Duty Esports Championships from Washington DC.
