RAF hosts first Sir Sefton Brancker race in two years

The RAF has taken part in the first Sir Sefton Brancker cross country race in two years.

Held at RAF Halton, more than 130 runners from the Air Force, police and civil service took part.

This was the 91st running of the Sir Sefton Brancker Cross Country Championship in history.

RAF star Senior Aircraftwoman Chloe Richardson dominated the female race after leading from the start.

Her win will give her momentum heading into an international call-up with England next month as she looks to achieve RAF elite sports status in 2022.

The men's race was won by civil servant Tom Adams.

He narrowly beat Flying Officer Michael Kallenberg, with a three-second gap.
