
Barn owl rescuers and ocean conquerors: Army Offshore Racing named Team of the Year

Army Sailing's Offshore Racing Team have been crowned Team of the Year at the 2026 Army Sports Awards.
The team continued their run of success, having won their fourth consecutive undefeated Services Offshore Regatta title earlier this year.
They also impressed in the prestigious Round Britain and Ireland Race, during which they rescued an exhausted barn owl, Little Regina, 70 miles off the coast of Newcastle before she was safely transferred ashore for further treatment.
