Former British Army gunner Karriss Artingstall has kept up her unbeaten professional boxing record.

A dominant display from Artingstall saw her defeat Marina Sakharov on points and stretch her record to 2-0.

The Olympic Featherweight Bronze medallist was part of a historic all-female card at London's O2 which included two world title bouts.

After her win, the former Army gunner told Sky Sports that she was "over the moon" to be part of the historic all-female card.

"I walked out before any of the boxing even started, and I looked up and was like phwoar look at this area.., this is what dreams are made of, every young girl wants to be here, I'm over the moon to be here."

Artingstall, 27, who served with the Royal Artillery, made history when she became the first-ever female Army boxer to qualify for an Olympic Games.

She signed a professional boxing deal with Boxxer in April alongside her partner Olympic champion Lauren Price.

Price also won her fight on the night, forcing a fourth-round stoppage of Timea Belik.

The Olympians, Artingstall and Price, made history together as the first same-sex couple to win Olympic medals in boxing and again as the first couple to sign with a major professional boxing promotion.
