Royal Marine Commando George Crotty has extended his professional winning streak to 5-0 after defeating Deimantas Mickevicius by a technical knockout (TKO) at York Hall.

Boxing at super middleweight, Mne Crotty stopped his opponent in the fourth round, where an eye injury to Mickevicius led to the referee stopping the contest, giving Mne Crotty the TKO win.

This is his first win of 2026 and his fifth straight win since he turned professional in 2024.

Speaking to TalkSPORT after his win, Mne Crotty says that he has his eyes set on claiming the Southern Area title later this year.

"My manager Simon Legg said that's the next fight [Southern Area] and it's happening," he said.

"So it would have been nice to have got the eight rounds in today, but if we keep stopping people, then that's good enough.

"I'd like to win the Southern Area at the start of the summer, and then go straight on to the English title by the end of this year, win that, and then you go for the British, and we'll see after that really."
