The Royal Navy won both the men's and women's individual titles at the Inter Services climbing championships in Poole.

The Project Climbing Centre in Poole, Dorset, was the venue for the 2026 flagship event, with competitors from all three services taking on the courses.

The men's competition was won by the Navy's Simon Noakes, and it was also a Senior Service success in the women's event as Abigail Cooper took home the trophy.

The team championship didn't go the Navy's way, though, as they finished third, with the British Army just pipping the RAF to top spot.

Last year, the Inter Services was held in conjunction with the European Military Championships, which was hosted by the UK Armed Forces at the 270 Climbing Centre in Gloucester.

A joint Army-Navy team won the European title that week.
