Can the British Army's next generation of men's footballers fire them to title glory?
After the success of the British Army winning the 2025 Inter Services under-23s championship, a number of players have made the step up to the senior team ahead of their clash with the Royal Navy.
The match, which will be broadcast live on the BFBS Forces News YouTube channel, will decide the fate of the championship with the Army needing a win to be champions.
Will they call upon three players who were instrumental to the under-23s success?
Femi Takyi
The winger took the headlines with the title-clinching goal against the RAF at the SB Stadium in Sandhurst and the Army coaching staff are excited about his potential.
A fast-paced, skilful winger, Takyi says he received the call-up days after his winning goal.
"Well, Al [Captain Al Brown] spoke to me on the Sunday following the big celebrations," he said. "He had a chat with me on his way to Germany and it helped me massively.
"Keith [Emmerson] has helped me massively to progress through the football. I'm just grateful to be here, to be honest."
Tyler Stevens
The Army have options in central midfield with Sean Thomson and Franklin Fitzmaurice starting in the 1-1 draw with the RAF in Shrewsbury.
However, the left-footed Stevens bagged goals against both the RAF and the Navy in the under-23s tournament and will be pushing for minutes at the SB Stadium.
He said: "I'm not up against 19-year-olds this time. It's going to be a bit more of a physical battle, that's for sure, but hopefully, I'll be able to cope with the demands.
"It's paid off for the hard work we've put in this year. It sets us up nicely."
Buster Reed
The goal machine from the under-23s will be hoping to continue that form at senior level.
Reed was also a scorer against both services and was the only newcomer to come off the bench against the RAF in Shrewsbury.
With Greg Peel's injury, there could be an opportunity for an in-form striker to force his way into the Army line-up.
Describing scoring a goal, Reed said: "It's one of the best feelings you can think of. As soon as that ball hits the net, the adrenaline gets to you.
"It was my last under-23s camp. I'm 23 now so to be able to kick on and get amongst the senior team and hopefully, embed your place in the squad is definitely something to look forward to."
