BFBS Sport viewers will be able to hear the expert knowledge of a former Premier League assistant referee during Sunday's live coverage of the Army Super Cup final.

Andy Halliday MBE spent 13 years as an assistant referee in the Premier League and took part in more than 300 key matches at historic stadiums such as Old Trafford, Anfield and the Emirates Stadium.

We're pleased to announce that, for only the second time, Halliday will be joining the BFBS Sport commentary team for Sunday's live broadcast.

He previously made his broadcast debut as part of our live coverage of the 2024 Army Major Units Cup final earlier this year.

In that match, 1 Mercian took the win and booked their place in Sunday's Super Cup final against 6 Scots.

You can watch all the action live on the BFBS Forces News YouTube channel and BFBS TV from 12:15 UK time on Sunday.
