How to watch the first-ever UKAF v French Armed Forces football clash live

The UK Armed Forces have been a dominant force in women's military football over recent years – but now they have a chance to take on a new challenge.

After a 2025 which saw a penalty shoot-out win over the Dutch and impressive wins over the Germans and Irish, Karl Milgate's team welcome the French Armed Forces for the first-time ever fixture live on the BFBS Forces News YouTube channel.

The action will also be live on BFBS TV (for serving personnel overseas only) with coverage beginning at 13:45 on 15 April and catch-up available on both platforms.

UKAF and the French are two teams who have been at the top of the military football landscape, but have worked in different circles as UKAF focused on their President's Cup campaigns while the French worked towards their goals of the winning the CISM tournament.

In 2022, the French won the championship to be crowned world champions while in 2023, they finished as runners-up.
