Manny Roche scores late winner as HMS Heron win nervy 2024 Royal Navy cup final in Havant

HMS Heron have won the 2024 Royal Navy cup after a late winner against Commando Training Centre Royal Marines in the final.

A tense match saw plenty of missed opportunities with goalkeepers Dane Rigby and Brad Stewart impressing for their teams.

However, Navy striker Manny Roche stepped up in the 94th minute to score a scrappy winning goal and give Heron their third Navy Cup triumph.

Earlier in the match, Sanchez Janz-Baker and Ben Rowland were guilty of missing some big chances for their teams.
