Watch: Extended highlights from the UK Armed Forces v French Armed Forces Kentish Cup clash.

The UK Armed Forces men's football team have secured an important win over the French Armed Forces at the 2024 Kentish Cup.

A tense battle against the French swung UKAF's way after a goal from captain Danny Kerr in the second half.

The 1-0 win means UKAF will retain their Kentish Cup by avoiding defeat against the Dutch Armed Forces on Friday in a match you can watch live – find out more here.

The French, who beat the Dutch 5-0 on Monday, went closest in the first half when Anthony Robin hit the post from a tight angle.

UKAF's goal came from good work from Army striker Greg Peel, who ran hard to lay it on a plate for Kerr to score.
