UK Armed Forces women's football team to face off with French Armed Forces for first time ever

The UK Armed Forces have been a dominant force in women's military football over recent years – but now they have a chance to take on a new challenge.
That's after it was announced that they will take on the French Armed Forces for the first time ever on April 15 at the SB Stadium, Sandhurst.
Last year was a banner year for the UKAF team. They retained the President's Cup against the Dutch on penalties, beat the German Bundeswehr on home soil and continued their dominance over the Irish in Dublin.

UKAF and the French are two teams who have been at the top of the military football landscape, but have worked in different circles as UKAF focused on their President's Cup campaigns while the French worked towards their goals of the winning the CISM tournament.
In 2022, the French won the championship to be crowned world champions while in 2023, they finished as runners-up.
