Watch: RAF men's hockey win historic seventh Inter Services title in Aldershot

The Royal Air Force men's hockey team are celebrating a record-breaking seventh consecutive Inter Services title after a 4-1 win against the Army in Aldershot.

This is the first time that a service has reached the seventh consecutive title milestone in the history of Inter Services hockey.

The RAF were playing without their star player Liam Sanford, who was ruled out of the Inter Services as he prepares for this year's Olympic Games in Paris with the GB Hockey squad.

RAF skipper Scott Perry was on target twice for the light blues as Tom Grimshaw and Sam Dew completed their four-goal tally.

Chris Randall came through with the consolation goal for the Army.

Afterwards, winning captain Perry admitted the team were looking forward to celebrating their record-breaking achievement.

He said: "The feeling is great, we will go out tonight and celebrate. I think it is going to be a great night.

"The lads have worked so hard for it, to get this one and to make it different to everyone else is amazing."
