Inter Services Snow Sports Championships Underway in Meribel
The Inter Services Snow Sports Championships has got underway at Meribel in the French Alps.
The resort had suffered from a severe lack of snow this season, so much so that it had to rely on the artificial kind.
Since the military competitors arrived, the snow has been non-stop, however.
It's not all good news though - the heavy snowfall may affect some of the upcoming speed events.
Laura Hawkins reports.
