Military darts players are preparing for a big night in Blackpool as they will pair with professional stars as part of the Operation Bullseye event.

The final qualifier for the competition took place in Witney, Oxfordshire, with veteran Carl Webb joining notable military sports stars such as former Army football head coach Jimmy Blair and Team GB Paralympian Scott Meenagh at the oche on 11 July.

Military players will compete alongside and against professional players such as Chris Dobey, Dimitri Van Den Bergh and Damon Heta in the event.

It's all part of a campaign to grow darts across the military that was set up by Warrant Officer Class 2 Lee Fox and Zara Durrant, with the main aim to certify darts as an official military sport.
