More Medals for British Throwers in Warrior Games

There’s more success to report overnight in the Warrior Games for our British Athletes.
They’ve picked up five gold, one silver and a bronze medal today in the Field events of Shot and Discus. That's on the heels of success in Archery and on the Athletics track which yielded 8 medals.

Former Royal Navy Sailor Sarah McJury won double gold in the women's standing shot, and with a superb throw of 18.86 metres in the discus.

There was Gold for Lt Col Spencer Bull in the seated shot with a throw of 9.38 Metres. And a silver for former Kingsman Anthony Cooper. Former Army Captain Laura Fermor took gold in her category in the women’s seated Shot with former corporal Darren Young winning the visually impaired Discus event. He threw 36.75 metres.
