Army netball star picked for Fiji international tournament

A key Army netball player has been picked to play for Fiji in an upcoming international tournament.

Sergeant Dee Bolakoro is involved in the squad for the 2023 PacificAus Sports Series taking place in Australia from Monday 24 April to Saturday 29 April.

Fiji’s first match is against Malawi on the opening day and Sgt Bolakoro was a key part of the Army's recent Inter Services win – which was broadcast on the Forces News YouTube channel for the first time ever last month.

Her Fiji inclusion means she won't be part of the UK Armed Forces match against the Isle of Man next weekend.
