British Army netballers make decisive start to Inter Services defence with RAF win

The British Army open netball team have made a sensational start to the 2025 Inter Services with a thumping win over the RAF in Portsmouth.

Ellie Nawele and Melissa Price led the Army attack and were in scintillating form as the reigning champions took a commanding lead.

It was in the third period that the Army started to rack up the goals and ended up with a 57-17 win.

It's their largest victory over the RAF since 2019 and sets them up to retain their title with victory over the Royal Navy on Friday.
