Shooting for success: Army netball claim UKAF Team of the Year award

The British Army netball team have been crowned the UKAF Sport Team of the Year for 2025.
After winning at the Army awards last month, the team overcame the challenge of the RAF's best team (men's rugby league) and the Navy's best squad (men's golf) to the tri-service gong.
The Army netball team have had another dominant year in the forces world, picking up the Inter Services in March as well as some high-profile tests against teams like Malawi and Fijian Pearls.

It's hoped that the continued success of the women's team will inspire more participation in the growing men's Army netball scene after the recent Inter Corps tournament was postponed due to a lack of numbers and the busy schedules of soldiers.
The Army netball team will receive their award at the UKAF Sports Awards in April.
