New RV points will help veterans reunite on annual Army v Navy match day

If reuniting with fellow veterans at the yearly Army v Navy match is important to you, it is hoped new changes to the format in response to feedback from last year's event will improve the reunion experience.
Many people were disappointed last year with the removal of corps marquees at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham – the home of England Rugby – as they were popular places for veterans to reunite.
This year, specific Level One bars in the stadium will be designated as RV points for individual corps, making it easier for old friends to reconnect before and during the matches.
While these bars will still be accessible to all spectators, they will serve as convenient spots for veterans to come together and share memories.
Additionally, the Army v Navy Match Committee has built on the success of last year's new West Fan Village, so fans will have another location to reconnect with fellow veterans for a drink and some food.
The thrilling Army v Navy match day is enjoyed by the entire military family – from serving personnel, partners and children plus veterans – and celebrates the strong connection that binds the Armed Forces community together.

BFBS Forces News is the broadcast partner for the 2024/25 season, including the U23 games between the Royal Air Force and British Army plus the Army v Navy showdown and all three Saturday double-headers in the spring.
