Race Against Time For 5 RIFLES Soldier To Qualify For Rio
A member of 5 Rifles has come within a whisker of qualifying for the Rio Olympics.
Rifleman Alhagie Drammeh from Gambia is a 400 metre runner and has improved dramatically this season to become Germany’s second fastest man over the distance and the fifth fastest in Africa.
But his timings so far fall just short of Olympic demands and the deadline to qualify for Rio runs out on Monday.
